Hybrid mouse VivoMouse was launched by Asus

 

The best of both worlds?

Hybrid Products in the wind, increasingly we see such new notebook PCs
with simple hand gestures can be made into tablets, and tablets that can be used as phones.
But mice with Touchpad is the first time we see, and Asus claims as well that they are
the first in the world with such a device. VivoMouse has called the invention, and it has
design reminiscent of a normal mouse - except for the big "helideck" on top.

Complete freedom
In practice this is a touch sensitive touch pad, and you can then choose whether you
want to move the pointer using the touch, or if you want to use your arm and hand to
make conventional mouse movements.

She demonstrated the mouse for the first time at this year's Computex trade show

VivoMouse, naturally enough, wireless, and allows the user to scroll using two fingers, enlarge and reduce the pinch gestures, and use various other gestures to perform tasks.
The large touchpad with integrated fields for left and right, which is used no matter what "mode" you use it in.

VivoMouse was displayed for the first time at this year's Computex trade show in Taiwan, taking place this week. It works in Windows 7 and Windows 8, and comes on the market in the third quarter of this year.
The price is not yet known.
